MillerCoors works with law enforcement, community organizations, government agencies, and our distributors and retailers to educate the public and develop initiatives to help prevent drunk driving. Combined with our responsible marketing practices and our efforts to prevent underage access, our drunk driving prevention programs are giving people the tools they need to make safe, responsible choices.
Pledge to be Responsible
I pledge to always take a cab, bus or train, or to have or be a designated driver, because with great beer comes great responsibility.

Let’s make sure everyone gets to home base safely this year! Miller Lite and Coors Light will continue to partner with the Milwaukee Brewers, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners, Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, Atlanta Braves and Chicago baseball fans to make sure they get home safely from the games. All baseball fans are encouraged to have their driver sign up at the ball park to be a designated driver. Working with TEAM Coalition and the Responsibility Has Its Rewards program, all legal-age designated drivers will have a chance to win. On select game series, Coors Light and Uber will be partnering to give baseball fans the chance to win rides with Uber.
We gave over 500 Uber rides home to Chicago baseball fans this spring. This brings us one step closer to our 2025 goal to “Implement impactful programs to prevent underage drinking and drunk driving in every market where we sell beer.”

Our partnership with Uber helps us provide safe rides from professional and collegiate sports fans like the Dallas Cowboys to national events like our free summer concert series, Conciertos Originales.
In 2017, MillerCoors teamed up with Uber in more than 100 markets. More than 43,000 consumers took advantage of a discounted ride.
Designated Driver Programs
Together with professional sports leagues and event venues, MillerCoors promotes designated driver programs and encourages fans to enjoy the game responsibly.
Responsible race fans earned valuable rewards at Chicagoland Speedway for the three days of NASCAR racing on June 29, 30 and July 1, 2018. Miller Lite and TEAM Coalition partnered to promote responsible drinking and traffic safety at the track. 717 fans made the pledge to Hold True and Get Home Safely.
