Brewing a Sustainable Future
At MillerCoors, we are Raising the Bar on Beer. Doing business the right way has always been the MillerCoors way. That's why we believe that every time a beer is picked up, there is a beer print left behind. Wherever we brew and sell our beer, we leave an imprint on our communities, on our environment and on our business. It's what we call Our Beer Print, and by working towards our 2025 goals, we've been making sure it's a favorable one.
As a Molson Coors company, MillerCoors recognizes our growth creates an even greater responsibility to be a leader in sustainability. It's a role that matters to us, which is why in 2017 we launched our ambitious 2025 targets. It's our way of putting a stake in the ground with a series of aspirations that are not just nice to have, but which will shape the company we want to be. These goals aim to create a new culture within our company and beyond, changing behaviors, broadening perceptions and setting new standards for our industry.
2025 Goals Progress
In 2017, we set ambitious 2025 sustainability targets based on a sustainability materiality assessment. These targets, which are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), are designed to drive us toward best practice throughout our operations.
We’re excited to share how our sustainability efforts have developed in the second year of our journey to 2025.

Part of having a great time is enjoying MillerCoors products responsibly, which is why we work hard to continuously grow our alcohol responsibility programs. Our strategy focuses on two main areas: drunk driving prevention and underage access prevention. We are committed to the safety of our consumers and those around them, and we work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to meet that charge.
Our environmental sustainability strategy strives to reduce environmental impacts at every stage of the brewing process and focuses on reducing water use, reducing our carbon footprint and eliminating waste.
Our employees, suppliers and communities each play a vital role in making us who we are. To support these groups, the strategy of our people and communities focuses on three areas:
Diversity and inclusion;
Supporting diverse suppliers; and
Investing in our communities
We understand the importance of sound governance to guide our sustainability and responsibility efforts and we have created an oversight system to hold us accountable for achieving our goals.
