Peter Coors is the vice chairman of the board of Molson Coors Brewing Company. He previously served as chairman of the board of Adolph Coors Company since 2002, and was chief executive officer from May 2000 to July 2002. He has served as a director of Coors Brewing Company, a subsidiary of the company, since 1973; has been the executive chairman since 2002; and was chief executive officer from 1992 to 2000. He has been a director of both US Bancorp and of Energy Corp. of America since 1996.

 

Peter Swinburn

A veteran of the beer industry, Peter Swinburn was recently appointed president and chief executive officer of Molson Coors Brewing Company. He previously served as president and chief executive officer of Coors Brewing Company. Prior to this role, he was president and chief executive officer of Coors Brewers Ltd., where he was responsible for the company's business in the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia. Prior to this role, he served as president of Coors Brewing Worldwide, a division of Coors Brewing Company, and as chief operating officer of Coors Brewers Ltd. He joined the company in 1974 and served in several senior roles in marketing, retail management and sales, including chief operating officer for Coors Brewers Ltd., sales director for Coors Brewers Ltd. and Bass Brewers, and director of Grolsch U.K., a joint venture between Coors Brewers and Grolsch. He also served as chairman for Tradeteam, a logistics company jointly owned by Coors Brewers and DHL.

 

Samuel Walker

Sam Walker brings extensive legal experience to his role at Molson Coors, where he has served as vice president and global chief legal officer since 2005 and, previously, U.S. and worldwide chief legal officer and group vice president at Coors Brewing Company since 2002. His experience also includes serving as a partner for 10 years at the Washington, D.C., law firm of Wiley Rein & Fielding LLC, where he handled trial and non-trial matters for consumer products companies. He also brings U.S. government experience to his role, having run the Employment Standards Administration, the largest agency in the U.S. Department of Labor. He also held a sub-cabinet position in the U.S. Department of Education and served as assistant clearance counsel during the 2000 presidential transition.

 

Dave Perkins
President, Global Brand and Market Development

Dave Perkins brings extensive company knowledge to the position he was appointed to in 2005. As a 23-year veteran of Molson Inc. prior to the merger with Adolph Coors Company, he served as chief market development officer for Molson Canada, and prior to that, he held the dual role of president of Molson USA and president of market development for North America. His beer industry expertise has allowed him to cement MCBC's influence as a global leader, and his executive leadership has been one of the driving forces behind initially strengthening Molson's position in the import beer category in the U.S.

 

Stewart Glendinning

Stewart Glendinning, brings extensive financial experience to his role at Molson Coors. He joined Molson Coors in 2005. He previously served as chief financial officer of Coors Brewers Ltd., the U.K.-based subsidiary of Molson Coors Brewing Company. Previously, he was managing director and a principal at The Hackett Group, a professional services company where he led the finance consulting practice and built its European operations from start-up. Prior to the Hackett Group, he served at KPMG's World Class Finance Organization where he focused on helping CFOs to redesign their organizations for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Graham Mackay

Graham Mackay joined The South African Breweries Ltd. (SAB Ltd.) in 1978 and has held a number of senior positions in the group, including executive chairman of the beer business in South Africa. He was appointed group managing director in 1997 and chief executive of South African Breweries plc upon its listing on the London Stock Exchange in 1999. He is the senior independent non-executive director of Reckitt Benckiser Group plc and has agreed to join the board of directors of Philip Morris International Inc. later in 2008.

 

Malcolm Wyman

Malcolm Wyman joined SAB Ltd. in 1986, and joined the board as group corporate finance director in 1990. He was appointed to the board of South African Breweries plc upon its listing on the London Stock Exchange in 1999. He became Chief Financial Officer in 2001, with responsibility for the group's finance operations, corporate finance and development, and group strategy. Prior to joining SAB Ltd., he was an executive director of UAL Merchant Bank, South Africa.

Sue Clark was appointed corporate affairs director, SABMiller plc, in 2003. Prior to this, she held a number of senior roles in U.K. companies, including director of corporate affairs, Railtrack Group, from 2000 to 2003 and director of corporate affairs, Scottish Power plc, from 1996 to 2000.

Prior to this, he worked for Cadbury Schweppes Plc, as president, global commercial strategy, and also as director of marketing, Cadbury Trebor Bassett. He previously worked for Diageo plc for 15 years in a number of senior roles including global brands director, Johnnie Walker, and group marketing director, Guinness Brewing.

 

Johann Nel

Johann Nel was appointed human resources director, SABMiller plc, in 2002. He joined SAB Ltd. in 1997 and was appointed human resources director in 1998. He previously owned a consulting organization, and had worked with SAB Ltd. on various major strategy, organizational development and human resources projects since 1988. He has co-authored a book on managing productive change in organizations and was involved in initiatives to encourage business involvement in the democratization of South Africa in the 1980s and 1990s.
