By sharpening our focus on the positive impact we can create, we are challenging ourselves to build upon our heritage and advance our commitment to sustainability.
Our sustainability strategy, Great Beer Great Responsibility, has three pillars:

- Great Environment: Embed environmental stewardship in the way we operate
- Great People and Communities: Empower our employees, suppliers and communities

Part of having a great time is enjoying MillerCoors products responsibly, which is why we work hard to continuously grow our alcohol responsibility programs. Our strategy focuses on two main areas: drunk driving prevention and underage access prevention. We are committed to the safety of our consumers and those around them, and we work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to meet that charge.
Our environmental sustainability strategy strives to reduce environmental impacts at every stage of the brewing process and focuses on reducing water use, reducing our carbon footprint and eliminating waste.
People and Communities
Our employees, suppliers and communities each play a vital role in making us who we are. To support these groups, the strategy of our people and communities focuses on three areas:
- Diversity and inclusion;
- Supporting diverse suppliers; and
- Investing in our communities
We understand the importance of sound governance to guide our sustainability and responsibility efforts and we have created an oversight system to hold us accountable for achieving our goals.

When setting our goals, tracking our progress and reporting on sustainability, we focus on the issues that are most material to the long-term success of Miller Coors and our stakeholders.
Our 2020 Goals
In 2015, we set goals that we set for 2020 focus on the areas where we can have the greatest impact. This is the first year of reporting against these goals, and we look forward to reporting against our progress annually in future reports.
