Get Your Gloves Ready, White Sox Fans!
October baseball is upon us and the South Siders are ecstatic to be here. And if you’re at their games rooting them on, Miller Lite suggests you bring your baseball mitt with you.
Miller Lite is stepping up to the plate for Chicago legal-drinking-age consumers by helping them plan ahead for the 2009 Crosstown Classic with free tickets to one of next year’s games at U.S. Cellular Field, but your glove— and some luck—will come in handy.
Any fan who catches a home run baseball hit by a Chicago White Sox player at U.S. Cellular Field in October can email MillerLiteChicago@gmail.com and, upon verification, will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a private suite party for the winner and nine friends at one of next year’s Crosstown Classic games taking place on the South Side.
“We couldn’t be prouder of our favorite home team,” said Sherry Courtney, MillerCoors Chicago marketing manager. “The White Sox fans have stuck by this team through thick and thin so we’re excited that the great taste, less filling Miller Lite is able to reward some of the best fans on the planet.
Complete rules are available by request at MillerLiteChicago@gmail.com. Fans who are lucky enough to catch a home run must send an email to the aforementioned address and request a meeting with a Miller Lite rep to show proof of the home run ball and ticket stub, as well as prove they are at least 21 years of age.
