In support of drunk-driving prevention, MillerCoors will continue its popular Free Rides community service program this St. Patrick’s Day, Wednesday, March 17. Offered under the umbrella of its Great Beer, Great Responsibility platform and in partnership with Metro Transit and J.J. “Our Miller Lite Free Rides program is a longstanding tradition for St. Patrick’s Day in the Twin Cities and we thank those riders who help keep the roads safe by celebrating responsibly,” said Kim Marotta, vice president of corporate social responsibility for MillerCoors. “We believe that with great beer, comes great responsibility, and we’re pleased to offer alternative transportation programs like Free Rides to help raise community awareness that drunk driving is completely preventable.”
Now in its 13th year in the Twin Cities, Miller Lite Free Rides will provide bus and light-rail service, free of charge, on Wednesday, March 17, starting at 6:00 p.m. until the end of regular service.
