Miller Lite Extends Partnership with Honda Center and Anaheim Ducks
Honda Center, the Anaheim Ducks and MillerCoors announced today a multi-year contract extension that maintains Miller Lite as the exclusive malt beverage sponsor of both the team and the venue, which includes hockey games, concerts and other special events.
“The Honda Center and the Ducks have been great partners for the past five years and we look forward to strengthening our relationship in the years to come,” said Jason Pellegrini, MillerCoors general manager-sales for the Greater Los Angeles area. “Whether you’re enjoying a Ducks victory or a memorable concert, the great taste of Miller Lite will make the occasion even more enjoyable.”
Included in the extension is the continuation of the highly successful Miller Lite Taste Zones on the Plaza Concourse of the arena near sections 210 and 220. Each “zone” includes high-top tables built around existing pillars; the necessary set-up for radio remotes; and special graphic designs on the pillars and floor, creating a place where fans can enjoy their refreshments and socialize.
“Having one of the biggest and most successful names in the beverage industry as a multi-year partner is certainly exciting for Honda Center and the Anaheim Ducks,” said Greg Rieber, director of corporate partnerships for Honda Center and the Ducks. “We pride ourselves on offering fans the most well-known consumer brands and Miller is certainly a proven leader in their market.”
Further terms of this agreement were not disclosed.
