Miller Lite and the Tampa Bay Rays to Call up One Lucky Fan To the “Show.”
Miller Lite and the Tampa Bay Rays will give one fan the opportunity to win the ultimate Rays experience through the Miller Lite “Ray for a Day” promotion.
The winner will receive a one-day league-minimum salary, Miller Lite for a year and a VIP behind-the-scenes experience at a Rays game. In addition, super agent Drew Rosenhaus will accompany the winner to the game to ensure he or she receives the royal treatment.
“We are excited to partner with the Rays to give legal-drinking-age fans an opportunity to enjoy an experience that will make them the envy of all their friends,” said Evan Cohen, Southeast Region marketing manager for MillerCoors. “Only Miller Lite, the light beer that lets you ‘taste greatness,’ could give you a chance to witness greatness on the field up close like this.”
The winner also will receive a customized jersey and VIP access to a Rays home game, which includes prime seats and access to the field during batting practice. The winner will meet with Rosenhaus and team officials before the game to receive his or her prize.
“I look forward to representing the winner of the Miller Lite ‘Ray for a Day’ sweepstakes, particularly since football is my bread and butter,” said Rosenhaus. “This will be a different challenge, but I’m excited to put my skills to the test and give the winner the best deal possible.”
Legal-drinking-age consumers can find entry forms for the Miller Lite “Ray for a Day” sweepstakes at participating Tampa-area retailers, including Publix, Total Wine and More, Buffalo Wild Wings, Winn-Dixie, ABC Liquor, Hess and Beef O’Brady’s. The sweepstakes runs through June 7 and a drawing will be held June 14 to select a winner for the team’s June 25 game against Arizona.
