LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Dec. 15, 2008) –This holiday season Coors Light is being joined by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Super A Foods to help feed Los Angeles area families in need.
“Coors Light is strongly committed to supporting the communities where we live and do business. Through our Cena en el Barrio efforts in Los Angeles we are proud to help those in need,” said Joedis Avila, Multicultural Relations manager for MillerCoors. He noted that Coors Light donated $10,000 to L.A. Food Bank to help bring food to needy families in Los Angeles. “This program has a direct and positive impact on the Hispanic community in Phoenix and Coors is proud to be a part of it,” Avila said.

With the help of Coors Light and all of the community partners and volunteers we will be able to make the holidays a little brighter for Los Angeles families," Michael Flood, President and CEO of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, said.
The Coors Light Cena en el Barrio program is a partnership with local community based organizations in Phoenix, Denver, Los Angeles, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston. This year, Cena en el Barrio will donate an aggregate of over 8,000 food baskets to families in need.
