Goals for 2015

Goals for 2015

For our most material issues, we set goals for the year 2015. At our offices and facilities, we display posters of our 2015 goals to inspire our people to continue working towards a more sustainable MillerCoors. Our people rise to meet, and in some cases exceed, our challenges.

Stretching Our 2015 Goals

We all work together to meet or exceed our 2015 goals. If we can achieve one of our goals in advance of 2015, we celebrate our success — and then we get back to work to set new goals.

  • Success with responsibility: At MillerCoors, we established a goal in 2009 for encouraging
6 million people to plan ahead and take a safe ride over the period from 2009 to 2015. By 2011, we reached 4.6 million people. Rather than just celebrate our success in nearing our goal, we set our standards higher. We have now raised the bar on our 2015 goal to 10 million people.
  • Success with waste to landfill:  In 2009, we established a goal to reduce waste to landfills 15 percent by 2015 from a 2008 baseline. By the end of 2010, we had already succeeded in reducing waste by 32 percent, so we increased our goal to 50 percent by 2015. We have exceeded our goal again. By the end of 2011, we reduced waste to landfills by 55 percent. We are now working to establish a new target.
  • Success with our overall SAM score: In 2009, we established a 2015 goal to improve our overall SAM score by 5 percent from a baseline of 3.19. We surpassed this goal by the end of 2010 with a score of 3.65, so we increased our 2015 goal to improve our overall SAM score by 15 percent. By the end of 2011, we achieved a score of 3.92, again surpassing our goal. We have now established a new 2015 goal to improve our overall SAM score by 25 percent.
